The second and final Toys For Tots field trip was a great success, fun was had by all and UT was well represented by the hardworking students and staff. UT purchased $1,170 worth of toys at Farm and Fleet and the store manager Ron Fritz donated and additional $2,500 and UT directly collected $750 worth of toys, bringing UT’s total donation to a record breaking $4,420. The hardworking UT team processed and sorted toys and bagged orders for over 1000 families in just 1 ½ hours. Special thanks go out to all those who donated toys or money and the hardworking chaperones who worked shoulder to shoulder with the students, they included:

Winter clothing for “The Oasis” can still be turned into the General Office or 259 North until the end of the semester.
Students and staff members, please remember to submit your nominations for the 2nd quarter John Deere special recognition awards. Students of any grade level and staff members can be nominated, but remember that only current seniors are selected to receive the award. The committee will select from 2nd quarter nominees on Tuesday, December 11th, so please get your nominations in as soon as possible. Thanks!
Marching Band and Color guard Seniors, Senior Recognition will occur on Saturday, 12/8 at the Panther Den during half time for the boys’ basketball game in Gym B. Report no later than 6:45pm. Sign-up sheet is in the band room, please have it filled out by Thursday, December 6th with your name and the folks who are walking’

GSA you have your meeting and holiday party on Wednesday, December 12th. Bring a rainbow gift for the exchange and a treat to share. We will meet in room 206 South and will start at 3:10.
There will be an informational meeting for all boys interested in track and field who are not in a winter sport after school on Tuesday, December 11th in room 238 North. If you cannot attend, see Coach Holschbach, Coach Wallaert, or Coach Palmer before the end of the semester.
There will be an Open Gym for any girls wanting to play soccer this spring. It will be on Monday, December 10th from 6:30pm to 8pm. You will need shin guards and tennis shoes in order to participate. Please enter through the west parking lot doors between Gym A and the weight room. See Coach Davila if you have any questions in Room 240N.
