GENERAL INFORMATION:
Freshmen Sophomores and Juniors will be taking SAT Exams tomorrow. If you are unable to locate your testing room today visit the General Office. On Tuesday, Testing begins promptly at 8:00 AM. Bring two number two pencils along with a calculator. . There is no food allowed in testing rooms. Freshmen and sophomores will be dismissed at 11:25 and juniors will be released at 12:15. Students may not have access to lockers after the completion of the exam. Please plan accordingly.
Attention current sophomores and juniors interested in being a Link Crew Leader. Applications are now available in the Counseling office or Room 246 North. Previous leaders must reapply. Applications are due Friday, April 13th no later than 8am and should be turned in to the counseling office. Please see Mrs. Drish or Mrs. Patikowski if you have questions.
If you have passed classroom Driver Education and have a Permit and would like to take Behind The Wheel 4th Quarter you will need to go to Mr. Burklund’s room 259North before school, start of 4th period Lunch or after school and “Update” your “Behind the Wheel Request Card.” If you do not update your Behind the Wheel Request card you will not be assigned a Behind the wheel teacher.
GUIDANCE:
Are any of you Interested in Western Illinois University’s Quad City campus? There will be a field trip on Friday, April 13th for interested juniors and seniors. Space is limited and permission slips are due back April 6th. Please stop by the counseling office for more information or to pick up a permission slip.
– Student council executive board elections are happening soon! If you possess strong leadership skills and are looking to get involved in Student Council, pick up an application in the guidance office. Applications are due Friday, April 13th by 3:30pm.
CLUBS:
National honor Society will meet on Tuesday, April 12 at 7:30am in room 220E. All current members are expected to attend
Scholastic Bowl Team: We will have practice on Thursday only this week. Practice next week will be Tuesday and Thursday.
SPORTS:
Congratulations to UT’s’ tennis team as they took first place at this weekend’s Rockford Boylan Invitational. Sophomore Ben Downey took 3rd place in #1 singles. Senior Devin Reynolds only lost two games on his way to the #2 singles title. Seniors Jonathan Getty and Brandon Moreno captured the #1 doubles title. And seniors Nick Fedele and Kevin Kipp secured the team title by winning the #2 doubles division. Great job UT!
