Voting for Prom court is now open. You can find the link on the UTHS Home page. Voting will be open for Seniors and Staff only. Voting will close today Thursday at 1:30pm. AGAIN voting is for Seniors and staff only. Any votes cast by Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors will be VOID.
Prom is Saturday, May 12 at the River Center in Davenport, Iowa. Tickets will go on sale Monday, May 7 until Thursday, May 10 in the general office. Tickets are $20each if purchased at school and $25 each if purchased at the door. The theme for prom this year is “A Black Tie Affair.”
Seniors: if you did not pick up your cap and gown, stop by the general office today and pick them up!
– Students, this year Student Council will need your help voting for our Student Council Executive board! This week on the announcements, our candidates will speak about the positions they have applied for and why they would be good for each position. Then, starting today Thursday, April 26th, you will be able to vote online for the students you believe would be best for each position. The link to vote will be on our UTHS website and voting will run from April 26th to April 30th. We appreciate your help with this! Please vote!
The Fine Arts department will present the traditional May Day Madrigal Dinner and Art Show next Tuesday, May 1, at 6pm, in the cafeteria, which will become the grand Castle for this event. The Art students will display their work in the foyer garden; the Choir students will treat you to a Renaissance show to remember, complete with period costume and Cornish hen meal with wassail; and the Brass Choir will serenade during the dinner. Come celebrate the coming of summer and the birthday of the Queen with us next week. See Mrs. Minard for tickets.
