General Information:

Wednesday – April 5th, UTHS and UTEC juniors will be taking the SAT at school. 9th, 10th and 12th graders will not attend school this day. Cell phones are not allowed in the testing rooms, and students should bring a calculator. The SAT is an IL graduation requirement. Testing will finish at 12:30 with busses home at 12:45. Room assignments for the SAT are posted. Juniors please find your test location. Contact the General Office if there are any issues. Please be in your testing room prior to the start of the exam, 8:00 AM. Again, No cell phones allowed in the testing room.

Authentic Voices is bringing The Clothesline Project, once again, to UT. This is a powerful display that gives voice to the trauma of violence against women and children – particularly with rape and domestic violence. You can see the display in Gym B on Thursday, April 6th from 1st through 5th period.

Mr. Teen UT is this Thursday from 7:00- 9:00 pm in the auditorium. Admission is $3

“If you are interested in being on backstage crew for the musical, we will have a meeting at 3:30pm on Wednesday in the auditorium. We would love to see you there!”

Bus 01 will be in Bus 07 and Bus 02 will be in Bus 12 tonight.

Clubs:

LUA will meet after school in Sra. Bramer’s room on Thursday, April 6. We will plan activities for 4th quarter. Bring your ideas and your calendars! Hope to see you there.

Guitar Club will meet this Thursday (April 6th) in 261W from3:10-4:15. Bring your guitars and make sure you have a ride home.

Attention Interact Club members – there will be a meeting this Thursday at 7:30 am in Cafe 3. All Junior Rotarians need to attend, and everyone is welcome. See you Thursday!

Guidance:

Seniors, one new Scholarship has been added to the Scholarship list in the guidance office. Stop in and check it out. It is due on April 15th!

Attention dual credit students. If you have not already done so, you need to complete the online application and registration form for any classes you are taking next year. Students enrolling in English and ECHO 2 must also take a placement test. These tests will be given next week starting Monday at UT. Sign up in the counseling office. See Mrs. Drish if you have any questions.

Sports:

Volleyball…….remember if you are not in a spring sport, spring workouts start today at 330. It will be held every Tuesday and Thursday. Also, volleyball please turn in your sold orange raffle ticket immediately.
