Colleges look for students who have experience with international travel. Stop by Mrs. Monson’s room 223E and pick up an information letter about an upcoming meeting on October 16 for a trip to Berlin, Prague, Auschwitz, Krakow, and Budapest in summer of 2020. Visiting a hot sauce factory? Or even Cave Tubing?? If so, please consider Discovering Belize in June of 2020. Orange Leaf has a Student Hunger Drive Fundraiser until October 21st. Go in and buy some frozen yogurt. Before you leave please drop off your receipt in the UT box. The winning school will receive 10% of the school’s earnings.
Big Yellow Bus Flyer Distribution is happening on the 21st from 11am to 1pm. Sign-ups will be held at the Student Council meeting on Friday.
The Student Variety Show will have sign-ups in the general office. If you are interested put your name down. Sign-ups will go until this Friday. The show will be on October 30th from 7pm to 9pm. It will be 5 cans or $3 to enter.
For every 100 cans that you bring in you will get put into the Heavy-Weight Champions Drawing for an IPad at the Hunger Drive Assembly.
If you bring in 20 cans the morning of October 29th, the late-start, you will get the official 2018 Student Hunger Drive t-shirt.

French club is hosting “movie night” after school today Tuesday, October 16th at 3:15 in room 250N. Bring a friend, bring some snacks and join us for this cultural event. Have your rides ready around 4:45 after the film.
P-7 Club will meet after school Wednesday, in Room 223E. Bring a friend and join us for an uplifting message. Also, the $10 T-shirt money is due at this meeting

National Honor Society will be meeting on Thursday, October 18 at 7:30am in room 223E. We will be handing out shirt order forms, signing up for the Rake and Run and other opportunities. Please be at the meeting and be on time. See you Thursday.
College Visits: You need to sign up in the Guidance office with Holly Schneider in room 157N if you want to attend any of these college visits.
Basketball cheerleading clinics will be on Tuesday, October 30 and Thursday, November 1 from 3:30 – 5:30. Tryouts will be Friday, November 2 after school. All material will be taught at the clinics. Contact Coach Jaylee with any questions.
