Students, Homecoming is almost here and Student Council has a week full of fun activities for you! Please look in your teacher’s classrooms or around the halls for the list of weekly activities. One of our fun activities is the volleyball tournament! If you would like to get a team together to participate in this event, please pick up an entry form in the main office! Entries are due by Friday, September 15th! The team entry fee is $25.

Attention seniors: the senior panoramic picture will be taken on Monday, September 18th. Seniors need to report to gym B at 8:30 am. Order forms, which will be distributed by the senior English teachers, are due at picture time. You don’t want to miss this memory keeper!
Senior yearbook pictures must be taken at Photographic Arts by October 27. Please schedule your appointments now if you have not been photographed. You definitely want to be included in your final UTHS yearbook!
Gamer’s Club will meet this Friday from 3 to 5 in the Cafeteria. There is no bus transportation, so be sure to have a ride ready to pick you up at 5.
Latinos Unidos & Amigos (LUA) will meet after school today Wednesday, September 13 in room 269W in order to plan for the Homecoming parade and activities to celebrate Mexico’s Independence. Hope to see you there!
Today, Wednesday, September 13th GSA returns! GSA stands for Gay/Straight Alliance. This club makes our school safer for everyone by providing opportunities to learn accurate information about LGBT people and helping us to understand that diversity enriches our lives. If you support these ideals join the group! We will meet after school at 3:10 in room 206 South.

Last night the girl’s tennis team faced off against the lady rocks and rolled to a 3-2 victory. Winning last night for the panthers were the doubles teams of Katlynn Hanson and Hailey Pappas, and Jackie Camacho and Iman Adams. Sophomore Nan Li secured the team’s win in singles play. The JV team also won last night, crushing the rocks 8-2. The Panthers next match is at Dixon tomorrow night.
