|QCESC Scholarship||1/23/18||Students must plan on attending an accredited four-year college or University and studying a STEM related degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics). Applications are in the Scholarship filing cabinet.|
|Hy-Vee Foundation Scholarship Program||2/10/18||80 $1,000 scholarships available to high school students. Applicant must be a high school senior working for Hy-Vee who began employment on or before September 15, 2017 or a high school senior son and/or daughter of a Hy-Vee Employee. Application is in the filing cabinet in the guidance office.|
|The Community Foundation of the Great River Bend Scholarships||2/15/18||The community Foundation of the Great River Bend offers 22 different scholarships for Illinois students. Please see a list of the 22 scholarships in the scholarship filing cabinet. See the requirements and apply for these scholarships at www.cfgrb.org|
|Beta Sigma Psi||2/17/18||$1,500 scholarship. Students must be attending the University of Illinois, Indiana University or Purdue University to qualify. Students must be male and of the Lutheran Faith. Applications are in the scholarship filing cabinet.|
|Arthur E. Brown Scholarship||3/1/18||Applicant must be a graduate of UTHS and have maintained a GPA of 2.5 or better over the first seven semesters. Student must also plan on enrolling full time at a college, university or vocational school. Applications are available in the scholarship filing cabinet. Please return to Mrs. Demory in the guidance office by March 1st.|
|Illinois Odd Fellow-Rebekah Scholarship||3/1/18||The scholarship is based on financial need and scholastic ability. Three $1,500 and ten $1,000 grants are awarded. Applications are online at www.ioof-il.org|
|Ascentra Credit Union Scholarship||3/3/18||Ten $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to a senior student that has their own account established at Ascentra Credit Union. You are ineligible to apply for the scholarship if you have a family member that works at Ascentra. The application is available in the scholarship filing cabinet in the guidance office.|
|AMVETS||3/1/18||There are multiple scholarships available. There are scholarships for students who have a parent or grandparent who has served in the military, scholarships for students interested in nursing, ROTC scholarships and scholarships for students whose mother or father is a deceased veteran. Please apply online at www.ilamvets.org.|
|*Donald Kiser Memorial Scholarship||3/1/18||One-time $1,000 award for students who will major in chemistry, biochemistry or chemical engineering. Student must be entering their freshmen year of college in the fall at an accredited post-secondary educational institution. Applications are available in the scholarship filing cabinet.|
|*R.I.A Federal Credit Union Scholarship||3/1/18||Five $1,000 scholarships to students that demonstrate academic excellence, exhibit outstanding contributions to their school and community, and are current credit union members. Applications are in the scholarship filing cabinet.|
|Adam D. Smith Memorial Scholarship||3/8/18||This one-time $500 scholarship will be awarded to a UT Senior who plans to continue his or her education in a field in which helps others to live a better life. Examples would be teaching, social work, political science, counseling, nursing, etc. Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher. Applications are in the scholarship filing cabinet. Please turn into Mrs. Demory by March 8th.|
|Alvin C. Tingle Culinary Arts Memorial Scholarship||3/8/18||Awarded to a graduating senior that exhibits positive personal qualities and has a 2.0 GPA or higher. The applicant must plan to continue their education in the culinary arts/food service field. Applications are in the scholarship filing cabinet in the guidance office. Please turn application in to Mrs. Demory by March 8.|
|Carl Killam Scholarship||3/8/18||Scholarship awarded to a high school senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and who is going to major in business in college. Applications are in the scholarship filing cabinet. Please return application to Mrs. Demory in the guidance office no later than March 8th.|
|Class of 1973||3/8/18||United Township class of 1973 is giving a $500 scholarship to a UT student with a 2.5 GPA or better that is planning on continuing their education after high school. The student must have shown perseverance and worked through an adversarial situation to meet their educational goals during high school. Application is in the scholarship cabinet and must be turned in to Mrs. Demory.|
|Doug Reynolds Rotary Scholarship||3/8/18||Applicant must have a GPA between 2.0 and 3.0 and must plan to attend Black Hawk College for their first two years and then transfer to an accredited college or University to finish their Bachelor degree. Applications are in the Scholarship filing cabinet and need to be turned in to Mrs. Demory in the guidance office by March 8th.|
|Elizabeth M. Anderson Scholarship||3/9/18||Applicant must have a 2.5 GPA or better. Preference will be given to students who are going to Augustana, Washington, University of Michigan and Iowa State. However, you may still apply if you are not going to one of these schools. Applications are available in the scholarship filing cabinet. Applications must be returned to Mrs. Demory by March 9, 2018.|
|*Foster’s Voice||3/9/18||One-time $1,000 awarded to two UT Seniors that plan to further their education. Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher with aspirations of wanting to fulfill a career of helping others (medical, psychology, law enforcement, etc.). Scholarships are in the filing cabinet.|
|Chris “SPEY” VanSpeybroeck Scholarship||3/16/18||Two $1,000 Scholarship will be awarded in 2018
Graduate from Class of 2018 from Moline High School Class, Alleman High School, Rock Island High School or United Township
Minimum 2.8 grade point. Applicant must have been involved in at least one service-oriented activity or organization in his or her school, community or place of worship. Apply online at www.molinefoundation.org under the “apply” tab.
|Irma Jones Scholarship||3/29/18||Scholarship awarded to a high school senior that has completed coursework in the Family and Consumer Science Field or Health Occupations field. Student must plan to attend a community college, College or University. Applications are in the Scholarship filing cabinet. Please return applications to Mrs. Demory in the guidance office by March 29th.|
|*Kiwanis UTHS Scholarship||3/31/18||Applicant must maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher and be a member in good standing with the Kiwanis Key Club at UT. Applications are in the Scholarship filing cabinet.|
|*Junior Board of Rock Island Scholarship||4/1/18||$5,000 Scholarship disbursed over 2 years. Applicants must be past or current participants in the Junior Board of Rock Island Nest Program. Must be accepted into an accredited college or trade school. Applications are in the filing cabinet.|
|*P. E. O Chapter KT Scholarship||4/1/18||$500 award to female senior high school student. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be in good standing during the current year. Applications are in the scholarship filing cabinet.|
|Jeff Leibovitz Scholarship||4/13/18||Two $500 awards are given out. Must have proof of enrollment in a junior college, College or University. Applicant will exhibit positive personal qualities and participate in at least one sport. Must have a 2.5 GPA. Applications are in the scholarship filing cabinet. Applications must be turned into Mrs. Demory in the guidance office by April 13th.|
|Walter Zude Scholarship||4/13/18||Awarded to a student planning on attending a vocational school, technical school, junior college or 4 year college or University to major in Computer Science. This scholarship is not based on financial need. Applications are in the scholarship filing cabinet. Applications need to be turned into Mrs. Demory in the guidance office.|
|Morrie Unterschiendt Memorial Scholarship||5/18/18||This scholarship amount is based on the memorial golf tournament that is held every May in honor of Mr. Unterschiendts son who passed away after graduating from college. Applicant must have 2.5 GPA or above and attend a college or University in the Fall. Preference is given to students with financial need. Applications are in the scholarship filing cabinet. Applications need to be turned in to Mrs. Demory in the guidance office.|
