Auto Show Scholarship 1/2/19 Scholarship that is awarded to a student planning to attend college or an automotive technical trade school. To be eligible, an applicant will have worked or have a parent or guardian working in a new car dealership within the last calendar year. Complete an application online at
GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program 1/4/19 Exceptional student leaders are invited to apply for the 2014 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program.  In honor of the legacy and character of President Ronald Reagan, this program annually rewards up to 20 college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with $10,000 renewable scholarships (up to $40,000 per recipient).  Applications are online at
*Trinity Health Foundation Scholarships 1/14/19 Health related scholarships given to deserving Seniors planning on attending college and majoring in a health related field. Scholarship applications can be found on at:
*Illinois State Historical Society’s Verna Ross Orndorff Scholarship 1/15/19 $1,000 award to an Illinois senior that writes the best 1,500 word essay on the subject of Abraham Lincoln or the Civil War era in Illinois. Essays are due on January 15th. Criteria for the essay and application can be found in the Scholarship filing cabinet.
*Quad City Engineering and Science Council 1/26/19 Multiple one-time grants that range from $1,000 to $2,500. Must plan to study a STEM related degree (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) at an accredited four-year college or University. Applications are found online at under the students tab.
HyVee Foundation Scholarship Program 2/8/19 40 $1,000 scholarships available to high school students. Applicant must be a high school senior working for HyVee who began employment on or before September 15, 2013 or a high school senior son and/or daughter of a HyVee Employee. Application is in the filing cabinet in the guidance office.
The Community Foundation of the Great River Bend Scholarships 2/15/19 The community Foundation of the Great River Bend offers 22 different scholarships for Illinois students. Please see a list of the 22 scholarships in the scholarship filing cabinet. See the requirements and apply for these scholarships at
*Illinois PTA Scholarship 2/15/019 1st place scholarship for $3,000 and 2nd place for $2,000. Must have a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and be enrolling in a college or University in an education or education-related degree. Apply online at Make sure your 7th semester grades are available on the transcript that is sent.
*AMVETS 3/1/19 There are multiple scholarships available. There are scholarships for students who have a parent or grandparent who has served in the military, scholarships for students interested in nursing, ROTC scholarships and scholarships for students whose mother or father is a deceased veteran. *Golden Apple Scholars of Illinois Teaching Scholarship 3/1/19 The Scholars program is open to residents of Illinois with a GPA of 2.5 or higher and qualifying SAT or ACT score. This Scholarship is for students planning on going into Education and staying in Illinois to teach. This program will assist with College tuition, job placement assistance after college, and mentoring during college and the first years of teaching. Please apply online at
Ascentra Credit Union Scholarship 3/2/19 Five $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to a senior student that has their own account established at Ascentra Credit Union. You are ineligible to apply for the scholarship if you have a family member that works at Ascentra. The application is available in the scholarship filing cabinet in the guidance office.
*UT Class of 1973 3/7/19 United Township class of 1973 is giving a $500 scholarship to a UT student with a 2.5 GPA or better that is planning on continuing their education after high school. The student must have shown perseverance and worked through an adversarial situation to meet their educational goals during high school. Application is in the scholarship cabinet and must be turned in to Mrs. Demory.
