|Irma Jones Scholarship||3/29/18||Scholarship awarded to a high school senior that has completed coursework in the Family and Consumer Science Field or Health Occupations field. Student must plan to attend a community college, College or University. Applications are in the Scholarship filing cabinet. Please return applications to Mrs. Demory in the guidance office by March 29th.|
|Kiwanis UTHS Scholarship||3/31/18||Applicant must maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher and be a member in good standing with the Kiwanis Key Club at UT. Applications are in the Scholarship filing cabinet.|
|*Craig Manwaring Memorial Scholarship||4/1/18||$500 scholarship awarded to a UT senior that plans to continue their education. Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and plan to attend a college or technical school. Good character considered over strong academic record. Applications are in the scholarship filing cabinet. Applications must be turned into Mrs. Demory in the guidance office by April 1st.|
|Society of Italian Americans||4/1/18||$1,000 Scholarship to a student enrolling into a College or University after high school. Applicants must have one Italian Ancestor in order to apply. Recipient will be chosen by GPA and written essays. Scholarship application is in the filing cabinet.|
|Junior Board of Rock Island Scholarship||4/1/18||$5,000 Scholarship disbursed over 2 years. Applicants must be past or current participants in the Junior Board of Rock Island Nest Program. Must be accepted into an accredited college or trade school. Applications are in the filing cabinet.|
|P. E. O Chapter KT Scholarship||4/1/18||$500 award to female senior high school student. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be in good standing during the current year. Applications are in the scholarship filing cabinet.|
|Township Officials of Illinois||4/1/18||Seven $1,500 scholarships will be given to high school seniors who attend Illinois colleges and Universities in 2014. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and must be US Citizen. Applicants must have a history of extra-curricular activities where leadership was exhibited. Applications are available in the scholarship filing cabinet.|
|Paul A. Peterson Computer Science Schlarship||4/6/18||$500 renewable scholarship. Students must major in computer studies at a vocational school, technical school, college or University of choice. Applications are available in the scholarship filing cabinet.|
|*Optimist Club of Silvis||4/9/18||Three $500 scholarships will be given. Two references plus an essay detailing your goals, objectives and aspirations should accompany the application. Applications are available in the scholarship filing cabinet.|
|*Cobham Diversity Scholarship||4/13/18||Applicants must be a member of a minority group, be enrolled as a full-time STEM degree program student and have a GPA of 3.0. Applications are in the filing cabinet.|
|Jeff Leibovitz Scholarship||4/13/18||Two $500 awards are given out. Must have proof of enrollment in a junior college, College or University. Applicant will exhibit positive personal qualities and participate in at least one sport. Must have a 2.5 GPA. Applications are in the scholarship filing cabinet. Applications must be turned into Mrs. Demory in the guidance office by April 13th.|
|*Robert Brissman Scholarship||4/13/18||$250 scholarship awarded to a student with a 3.0 GPA or above. The student will continue their education at a University or community college. Award will be given to a student that participated in tennis, soccer or theatre and has done some volunteer work in our community. Please turn in applications to Mrs. Demory in the guidance office no later than March 12th.|
|Walter Zude Scholarship||4/13/18||Awarded to a student planning on attending a vocational school, technical school, junior college or 4 year college or University to major in Computer Science. This scholarship is not based on financial need. Applications are in the scholarship filing cabinet. Applications need to be turned into Mrs. Demory in the guidance office.|
|*QC Lodging Association||4/20/18||3 Scholarships awarded to students that plan to attend Black Hawk College, Scott Community College, St. Ambrose, Augustana, Western Illinois University or Kaplan University. Applications are in the filing cabinet.|
|Silvis Rocket Booster Scholarship||5/1/18||$500 awarded to a graduating senior who plans to continue their education. Applicant must have graduated from Silvis and attended there for at least 6 years. Applications are available in the scholarship filing cabinet.|
|Thomas K. Evans Memorial Scholarship||5/1/18||$5,000 Scholarship awarded to a student pursuing and degree in science, technology engineering or math. Must attend an accredited college program. Applications are in the Scholarship filing cabinet.|
|Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.||5/9/18||Applicant must be a female of African-American descent and have a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must be accepted to a two or four year degree granting institution. Applications are in the filing cabinet.|
|Morrie Unterschiendt Memorial Scholarship||5/18/18||This scholarship amount is based on the memorial golf tournament that is held every May in honor of Mr. Unterschiendts son who passed away after graduating from college. Applicant must have 2.5 GPA or above and attend a college or University in the Fall. Preference is given to students with financial need. Applications are in the scholarship filing cabinet. Applications need to be turned in to Mrs. Demory in the guidance office.|
