During the annual Festival of Trees, twenty eight artistic students from United Township had entries in the student art exhibition with one of UT’s students earning a blue ribbon at the exhibition. Ngyan Huynh won first place in the drawing category for her surreal pencil drawing of pencils.
Their teacher, Mr. Nevenhoven, was very satisfied with all of the work and effort put in by the students. He explains, “I am happy that talented students were able to be exposed to other pieces of art from students around the Quad Cities.”
