Students if you ordered additional items from Moments With Class, we have some in the General Office that need to be picked up as soon as possible.
Students may not be dropped off or picked up in the Walgreen’s Parking Lot or the East bus entrance. All Guardian drop offs should occur in the west parking lot.

Any students still needing to complete the FAFSA, Black Hawk College has a free workshop on Thursday, February 28th from 4 to 7pm. This workshop is for students and parents. If you plan to attend, please see your counselor for more information on what to bring to get your FAFSA completed.
All students enrolling in dual credit courses next year need to complete the following steps: complete the online application, turn in the registration form with your BHC ID (which you receive after doing the online application) and sign up to take the ACCUPLACER placement test if you are enrolling in English 101/102. Sign up in room 157N. The following dates are available: March 6, March 19 and March 20. See Mrs. Drish in 157N if you have any questions.
This message is for seniors who plan on attending Black Hawk College and still need to apply. Black Hawk College has a free application day in April. We will have a representative from Black Hawk College to fill our paper applications with you on April 3rd. This will allow you to apply for FREE, and not pay the $20 application fee. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity please sign up in Room 157N. You must have your Social Security number in order to apply. Anyone without a Social Security number will need to let the rep know they do not have one. If you have any questions, see your counselor.
NHS will have a meeting on Thursday, February 28 at 7:30am. This meeting is to finish our school supply drive. Please be there!
School Supply Drive – Do you love Atomic? Can’t get enough Chick-Fil-A? Need some gas for your car? Then gather up some school supplies and get your name in a drawing for gift cards from Starbucks, Atomic, Chick-Fil-A, Olive Garden and Whitey’s. We even have a $50 gift card from Visa and 3-$10 HyVee gift cards for gas! Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, bring in unused school supplies and donate them to the NHS School Supply Fund for students in need. Each item gives you a different number of chances to win. The more you bring in the more chances you have to win. Clean out your locker, hit the Dollar Tree, look in the junk drawer at home. Bring us your paper, folders, pens, pencils, crayons, and markers. See the lunch display for more information. The drive is going on until March 7th. Drawings will be announced on March 7th.
Join French Club on TUESDAY March 5th before school in celebrating Mardi Gras! We can decorate masks while enjoying a traditional King Cake and further information about Mardi Gras will be given. Sign up is located in room 250N, we hope to see you there!

Girls Soccer Tryouts will start this today, February 25th and will end on Friday March 1st. They will be in the gym from 7pm to 9pm. See coach Davila in Room 240N if you have any questions or are interested in trying out for the team.
There will be tryouts for anyone interested in playing baseball this spring today, February 25th and tomorrow, February 26th at 5:30pm in the big gym. Both workouts will finish at 7:30pm. Please wear baseball pants, belt, running shoes and a hat for the tryouts. If you have any questions please see Coach Meyers in 224E.
Any boys interested in playing tennis this year please meet in Room 240N today, February 25 right after school. Bring appropriate clothes for both inside and outside workouts.
Wrestlers: Lifting will begin next week – Monday, March 4th after school. Banquet tomorrow 6:00-7:00pm.
