• Look for Music Trivia via email at 9:39am every day this week. This is done by CLASS. The teacher of each class submits the given Google Form. Choose your answer fast; the first correct response wins.
• Street Pianos are located in the south hall and the cafeteria foyer – Only play during passing time, take turns, and respect the instrument.

The Choir will perform their concert of Contemporary Composers today at 7pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church, EM.
The Band will perform their pre-festival concert on Thursday at 7pm in the Auditorium.
Students, our next blood drive will be Wednesday, March 6th. We will start sign-ups at lunch. If you would like to donate, please stop by the table during your lunch period outside of the cafeteria and sign-up! You must be at least 16 to donate!
Attention all staff and students – Friday. March 8th is the last day to preorder your copy of the 2018-19 UTHS Skyline. Pre Ordered books are $45 and may be purchased in the General Office. We will have some extras at the end of the year, but they will be sold to the seniors first and the cost increases to $55. Additional orders will not be placed, so reserve your copy today! You do not want to miss out on this memory keepsake!!
Sophomores and Juniors interested in being Link Crew Leaders next school year can now apply. Applications can be found in 157N, 246N or the general office. All applications are due to Mrs. Drish in Room 157N no later than 8am Friday morning. Late applications will NOT be accepted. Former leaders must re-apply. Questions? All students enrolling in dual credit courses next year need to complete the following steps: complete the online application, turn in the registration form with your BHC ID (which you receive after doing the online application) and sign up to take the ACCUPLACER placement test if you are enrolling in English 101/102. Sign up in room 157N. The following dates are available: March 6, March 19 and March 20. See Mrs. Drish in 157N if you have any questions. There are only 3 test dates set up. Tomorrow, March 6 and after we return from break March 19 and 20. Get signed up ASAP.
This message is for seniors who plan on attending Black Hawk College and still need to apply. Black Hawk College has a free application day in April. We will have a representative from Black Hawk College to fill our paper applications with you on April 3rd. This will allow you to apply for FREE, and not pay the $20 application fee. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity please sign up in Room 157N. You must have your Social Security number in order to apply. Anyone without a Social Security number will need to let the rep know they do not have one. If you have any questions, see your counselor.
Attention Ukulele Club members! Make sure to bring your ukes on Wednesday, March 6. There is a guitar/ukulele circle during all lunches, then we will meet after school at 3:15 in 261W. See you there!

Latinos Unidos and Amigos is hosting a Piñata Making Party for its members and for those who are interested in joining LUA. Join us today Tuesday, March 5 in Cafeteria 3 for fun, snacks and friendship! Why join LUA? LUA provides a familiar atmosphere in which students of Latino and Non-Latino backgrounds can share their experiences and establish friendships through various activities.
School Supply Drive – Do you love Atomic? Can’t get enough Chick-Fil-A? Need some gas for your car? Then gather up some school supplies and get your name in a drawing for gift cards from Starbucks, Atomic, Chick-Fil-A, Olive Garden and Whitey’s. We even have a $50 gift card from Visa and 3-$10 Hy Vee gift cards for gas! Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, bring in unused school supplies and donate them to the NHS School Supply Fund for students in need. Each item gives you a different number of chances to win. The more you bring in the more chances you have to win. Clean out your locker, hit the Dollar Tree, and look in the junk drawer at home. Bring us your paper, folders, pens, pencils, crayons, and markers. See the lunch display for more information. The drive is going on until March 7th. Drawings will be announced on March 7th.
There will be an Interact Club meeting this Thursday at 7:30am in Cafe 3. The meeting will be short, and all Junior Rotarians need to stay to discuss job shadowing.
