Superintendent's Welcome

On behalf of the Board of Education, I would like to welcome you to United Township High School District #30 in East Moline, Illinois where we are “achieving excellence together.” This value statement reflects our mission to offer the best, well-rounded educational experience possible for the young men and women of the United Township community.

District #30 serves students from Barstow, Carbon Cliff, Colona, East Moline, Hampton, Silvis, portions of Moline and upper Rock Island County. Five elementary school districts (Carbon Cliff/Barstow, Colona, East Moline, Hampton and Silvis) and two private schools (Our Lady of Grace Catholic Academy and East Moline Christian School) send students to further their education at UTHS.

Learning is an active and ongoing process that extends beyond school boundaries. We are committed to the pursuit of academic excellence and helping our students develop their fullest potential by providing a variety of innovative experiences, a caring progressive staff, and an involved community. Our primary responsibility is to provide a learning environment that is safe and intellectually challenging for all of our students.

The young men and women attending United Township are the people who will lead our future. I firmly believe that we offer an outstanding education to all groups of students that will lead us to “achieve excellence together.” I invite you to help us achieve this goal!

Yours for Better Schools,

Jay C. Morrow, Ed.D.
