If you are interested in being a part of the LGBT+ Club here at UT, there will be a quick Informational meeting right after school Monday August 7 th in Miss Williams room 125E. This club is for any student who is a part of the LGBT+ community, allies, or students who are just looking for a way to get involved and want some good vibes! If you cannot make the informational meeting after school Monday August 7 th, you can go see Miss Williams in room 125E any time next week or use the QR code on flyers hanging by the water fountains to sign up!
"Those interested in participating in the Panther Players (our drama club) this year should plan on attending our informational meeting next Wednesday, August 9th at 3:15 in the auditorium. This is for everyone who wants to participate in acting, design, tech, props building, backstage crew at all this year. We will talk about everything going on for the entire year as well as have information on our fall play James and the Giant Peach. Please plan on alternate transportation or to take the late bus that day. Come see Mr. Greer in 224E or Ms. Weber in 216S with any questions. We hope to see you there!"
SPORTS:
Girls Cross Country: All are welcome. You will have fun, make new friends and it is healthy! We will meet every day in the Athletic Classroom across from the weight room.
Anyone interested in joining the Boys cross country team, stop down to Room 196V and talk to Coach Webber.
"The girl’s tennis season is upon us! The first practice will be next Monday, August 7th, at 3:30PM at the tennis courts. All students must have a valid physical to try out. Friday, August 11th, will be the last day for sign-ups."
"Attention UT students, our golf program is back! There will be an informational meeting after school today Friday, August 4th from 3:15 to 3:30 in Room 197V located across the student parking lot in the area career center building. We will discuss meets, practices and any information you have questions on regarding the golf program. Please contact Coach Gunneman in Room 197V or stop in the athletic office.
"Attention any boys interested in playing boys soccer this fall. Soccer tryouts will take place Monday August 7th and Tuesday August 8th. Tryouts are from 3:45 - 5:30 PM at the Panther Pitch. There is a bus to take players to tryouts. Bus #5 will depart at 3:20 PM from the west parking lot outside of the athletic hallway. You need soccer cleats and shin guards to participate. Please see Coach Davila if you have any questions."
Are you interested in joining the Girl’s UTHS Swimming and Diving team?! The Girls swim and dive season begins August 7th and swimmers/divers of all abilities are welcome to join. There will be an informational meeting held at the swimming pool for all interested swimmers and divers at 3:15 - 3:45 pm today, Friday August 4th.
