GUIDANCE:
Attention all Seniors: UT will be offering the SAT on October 11. This is optional for all seniors. If you would like to take the SAT, please sign up in the counseling office. The deadline for signups is August 25
Attention all Juniors: UT will be offering the National Merit Scholarship Qualification Test on October 11 This is optional for all juniors. All juniors in American studies will sign up with their teacher. All other juniors who would like to take the test please sign up in the counseling office. The deadline for signups is August 25. See Mrs. Whitcher in the counseling office if you have any questions.

CLUBS:
Attention all Freshman! If you are interested in representing your grade in Student Council, Freshman Rep applications are due THIS FRIDAY August 25. Please bring them to Mrs. Hernandez in room 185 V as soon as possible!
The first Interact Club meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 23 at 7:30am in room 105S. All students are welcome to attend. Come see how the Interact Club helps in the community!
Attention, UT students come join us for our first Latinos Unidos meeting of the year.
It will be held after school on Thursday Aug. 24 in room 256 north with Ms. Cantu.
UT’s LGBT+ club is having their first meeting of the year this week in Miss Williams room 125E, after school, on Wednesday August 23rd. The club will be watching the first two episodes of the new season of Heartstopper with snacks. Even if you are not signed up for the club yet, come check it out and have a good time!
Tri-M Music Honor Society will meet this Thursday, 7:15am in the Choir Room.

"The Speech Team is going to have an informational meeting this Thursday, August 24th at 3:15pm in 224E. Speech (also known as individual events) is an IHSA competitive activity where students compete in a variety of events, ranging from political arguments, crafting a radio program, acting, prose/poetry reading, and traditional speeches. There are 14 events, so there is something that appeals to everyone! We are the two-year Regional Champions and have advanced entries to the state tournament for 6 of the past 8 years. Come to 224E on Thursday to hear more! Speak to Mr. Greer if there are any questions."
