Thursday, October 26th during 2nd hour, Herff Jones will be here for the senior cap and gown meeting.  All seniors need to attend this meeting.  Please report directly to the auditorium for your second period."

Do you want to throw a pie at a teacher? Bring in 50 cans or 25 dollars to get the chance to throw a pie at one of the teachers that is volunteering during your lunch period on November 1. Cans or donations must be brought in before school outside of the auditorium on November 1st. You will receive a paper with a teachers name on it. If you do not bring in your donation before school, you will not get to pie during lunch.

Seniors and Senior Parents/Guardians: The senior baby ads deadline is quickly approaching. The final day to purchase a memory ad for the 2024 yearbook is November 3. Order forms have been emailed to the senior parents and guardians. They are also available online at uths.net, in the General Office and in Mrs. Green's room (126E). To purchase a section, send the completed form with a message to your senior, the $30 payment, and your favorite picture of your loved one. Pictures may be a hardcopy or digital form, but please keep in mind all pictures MUST to be clear, not a copy from social media, and in the form of a jpeg or png.  If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Green at skyline@uths.net. 

GUIDANCE:

Attention College Bound Seniors: The FAFSA is an application needed for College; it helps determine eligibility for State and Federal Financial Aid. FAFSA help will be available starting every Thursday after fall break. Sign up in the Counseling Office

It is AP testing sign up time. If you are in AP chemistry, Art, Spanish, or Computer Science classes’ you will sign up with your teacher. For all other AP testing, please come to the counseling office and ask for the signup sheet. See Mrs. Whitcher if you have any questions.

University of Northern Iowa: it’s currently free application week at UNI so any interested seniors can apply using code OCT24 instead of paying the usual $40 fee! This will be usable until this coming Sunday.

College Visits: Sign up in the counseling office to speak with college representatives. 

Army National Guard-November 3 -3rd Period

CLUBS:

There will be a Student Council meeting this Friday! Come join us in the auditorium at 7:30 to hear about Student Hunger Drive and hear Coach Otto talk about our upcoming Dance Marathon!
There will be a Foster’s Voice meeting this Thursday at 7:00 Am in Gym A! Come join us for discussion about mental health! Bring a friend and grab a donut! 

SPORTS:

“Girls basketball open gym is through Thursday right after school in Gym A until 4:45pm this week. Anyone interested in playing girls basketball this year, tryouts will be on Monday, Oct. 30th and Tuesday Oct. 31st. If you have any questions, see Coach Pavelonis.”

Basketball Cheer Tryouts:
Clinics are:
October 25 and 26. 3:30-5:00 pm Upstairs gym.
Tryouts will be by assigned individual times on October 27
