ACC Career Day
Attention Sophomore Students. On Wednesday, January 17th, All Sophomore students will be participating in the Area Career Center’s Annual Sophomore Career Day.
Sophomores who have PE, Driver Education, or Health periods 1-5 and 7-8, are reminded to report to Gym A during their regularly scheduled class.
Sophomores who have PE, Driver’s Education, or Health period 6 will receive a pass to attend the Career Day, during their normally scheduled lunch, either 4th or 5th period, and then take lunch during 6th period.

CLUBS:

The dance marathon this Saturday has been postponed due to the predicted weather. Look out for a new date to be announced soon!

LGBT+ club is having a meeting next week after school on Wednesday January 17th. The club will meet in Miss Williams room in 125E right after school. We will be taking a group photo, designing merch, and planning our next club event!

Attention all students!  The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) will host its first huddle of second semester this TUESDAY, January 16th at 7am in 151N!  Set your alarms since we don't have school on Monday, and join us as we talk about how our faith can help us live a life of fulfillment and joy. 

GUIDANCE:

There is a new scholarship added for seniors planning to attend Black Hawk College. Check out the updated list and look for the Moline Regional Community Foundation scholarship if you plan to attend Black Hawk. 

The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) representative will be at UT this morning in the Guidance Office Conference Room from 9:00 to 11:30.  Students wanting information regarding the new FAFSA form should attend today's session.  

SPORTS:

Students going to the Moline game tomorrow night.
MHS and the visiting team students must present their school ID to gain entrance. 
Anyone who leaves the building will not be allowed to return.No Bag Policy - Student or adult spectators attending public events at Wharton Field House will no longer be permitted to bring in bags or purses larger than the size of a wallet.Anyone who appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed in and will be escorted from the event and face appropriate school and civil consequences.Students who make negative comments (including wearing clothing, posting inappropriate signs, hand gestures and/or verbal chants) towards the opposing team, officials, event staff, or other students will be escorted from the event and not allowed to return to the event. This may also be a school issue and will result in student discipline.Students and fans are to leave the gym and school, immediately after the game. There will not be time for running around on the court, socializing and/or waiting for the players. If you are waiting for the players, you will need to do so outside or in your car.
