Tickets for the dance marathon will be sold through Friday this week in the commons! It is $12 per person or $50 per team. You must be a UT student to attend and prices go up at the door. Make sure to get your ticket soon!

Are you interested in donating blood? Signups for the blood drive on March 28th will be at lunch this Friday! Spots fill up fast so make sure you come find our table in the commons to get your spot! To sign up, you must be at least 16 years old and you will need a parent or guardian’s signature if you are under 18.

For Music in our School Week - Today’s lunch activity is Piano Contest. Students are invited to play for the Tri-M judging panel and we will award the top 3 performances of each lunch period. Tomorrow we’ll play Name that Tune.Thanks to everyone who participated in dress as your favorite artist today. Tomorrow’s Dress Day is Blues. We hope to see you all dressed in blue from head to toe Tonight is the Dodgeball Tournament. You can sign up until the end of lunch today using the QR code. Quite a few people have submitted to the Scavenger Hunt. Use the Goosechase App with our code and join in the fun!Now on to trivia. CLUBS:

There is a volunteer opportunity coming up through Student Council! We need help setting up and decorating for the Dance Marathon after school on March 27! If you are interested, please email, get in contact with anyone on the student council board, or talk to Ms. Colgan!

GUIDANCE:

Seniors! This is a reminder that many of our scholarships are due Thursday, March 7th by 3:30pm! If you have any that are turned in to Mrs. Drish, she will attach a transcript if needed. 

Students, Mr. Davis, the UT College & Career Advisor, has a new location for students to volunteer to obtain community service hours.  So, if you are looking for a place to do volunteer hours, contact Mr. Davis.  His office is located in the UT Center area."

SPORTS:

Congratulations to the girls track team who took 2nd place last night among 17 Quad City area schools. Top finishers included: Rubi Tapia-Macias 2nd in the 800, Ty-Asia Wiggins 1st place in long jump, 60 meter and 200-meter dash and the 4x200 of Rakia Ouro-Gnao, Agnes Moore, Ciara Hull and Ty-Asia Wiggins also took first place. Great job girls!
