Attention all bilingual students! Do you speak a language other than English like Spanish, French, Arabic, Hakha Chin, or Mandarin Chinese? Do you want to earn free college credits? If so, the Seal of Biliteracy is for you! If you pass a test in your second language, you can receive free college credits at any public college or university in Illinois. Email Mrs. Erickson at kerickson@uths.net or text 563.447.0190 for more information or to sign up. You can also access the application by clicking "Students - Seal of Biliteracy application" on the UT homepage.

CLUBS:

The first foster’s voice meeting of fourth quarter is at 7 am Thursday, April 4th, in gym A! Come join us to start your quarter off with mental health awareness!

Are you in need of volunteer hours? Help set up the dance marathon today, after school, from 3:15pm to 5pm or help with clean up from 9:30pm to 10:30pm. Email Morgan Quaranta if interested!

The blood drive is tomorrow, Thursday the 28th, during school. There are 25 slots left. Sign up during your lunch period and you will receive a $10 gift card of your choice after you donate.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will host its 1st huddle of the quarter this Tuesday, April 2 at 7am in 151N. We will have a guest speaker visiting us to talk about upcoming TEC (Teens Encounter Christ) weekend retreats and how it can help grow your faith and circle of fellow believers. ALL students are welcome to attend! See you THIS TUESDAY at 7am in 151N!

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is now accepting applications for student leaders for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants should be strong in their Christian faith and have an interest in sharing their faith with fellow students and athletes. Application forms, which include the FCA Statement of Faith, are available in 151N and are due to Mrs. Mital no later than Tuesday, April 16th.

GUIDANCE:

Seniors - 4 new scholarships have been added. Check out the updated list on the counseling classroom.

Any students needing to take the ACCUPLACER test for dual credit can sign up in the counseling office. Testing is required for dual credit math, English and psychology. You will need your Black Hawk ID number to test. See Mrs. Drish if you have any questions.
