Seniors: Some of your 8th grade letters are here from Glenview.  They are in the General Office and you can stop in in between classes or your lunchtime only.

Great news panther fans! It's time to talk about the 2023-24 YEARBOOKS! If you did NOT pre-order a yearbook, please add your name to the reserved list in the General Office. We have around 70 extra books, and they are available on a first come, first serve basis. You may pay for a book in the General Office starting today Monday, May 20. The cost is $60; cash and check are welcome. Please note: Yearbooks can no longer be purchased online!! Yearbook distribution for pre-ordered AND reserved copies will begin on Tuesday, May 28 during all lunches in the student store. You MUST provide your student ID or state issued ID for pick up. NO ID = NO YEARBOOK, no exceptions! Your name must be on the pre-ordered list or paid reserved list to receive a book. Any discrepancies or issues will be directed to the General Office.

"There will be an informational/interest meeting for all those interested in joining the speech team next year on Tuesday, May 21st at 3:15 in 224E. IHSA speech consists of 14 individual events that cover a variety of skill areas, such as acting, persuasive speaking, informative speaking, crafting a radio broadcast, political/economic analysis, and poetry interpretation. Feel free to stop by on Tuesday after school to learn more about this great activity."

CLUBS:

The final Foster’s Voice meeting will be next Thursday, May 23rd, at 7 AM in gym A! Come join us to celebrate our seniors and finish off the school year with mental health awareness!

The final student council meeting will be this Friday at 7:30 in the auditorium. Please come up with ideas for next year's homecoming theme, as we will be discussing plans for the events in the upcoming school year.

GUIDANCE:

"Students, the ISAC representative, Ms. Madeleine Schaefer, will be at UT this coming Thursday, May 23, from 9 -11:30 to meet with students regarding FAFSA.  This will be Ms. Schaefer's final week at UT.  If you need to discuss any matter related to the FAFSA, you should plan to visit with Ms. Schaefer on May 23.  Please sign up in the Guidance Office.  If you have questions before May 23, see Mr. Davis, the UT College & Career Advisor." 

"St. Ambrose University, in partnership with Modern Woodmen of America, is developing a learning experience for technical skill development and hands-on-training in the area of IT.  It is cled the IT Bootcamp Summer Class.   

Graduating high school seniors interested in gaining more skills and experience in IT are encouraged to participate.  Participants receive college credit, an IT Skills Certificate, and may be offered employment with Modern Woodmen of America.  This is an amazing opportunity for any high school seniors graduating this spring and looking to start a career in IT but may not have the time, money, or resources, to obtain a degree to work in an IT profession. Classes start June 11 on the St. Ambrose University campus.  Seniors, if you want more information, please see Mr. James Davis, the UT College & Career Advisor."

SPORTS:

"For any Boys or Girls interested in Running Cross Country in the fall, there will be a short informational meeting on Wednesday, May 22nd right after school in the woodshop, room 196V.  If you are unable to attend, email Coach Webber or stop down and see him if you have any questions." 

“Any girls interested in playing volleyball next fall, there will be an informational summer meeting this Friday in the Gym A Classroom at 7:40am. You will receive schedules and camp forms, see you there!”

Any boys interested in playing soccer this fall should attend an after school informational meeting in the Commons tomorrow May 21st at 3:05. We will be discussing the summer schedule
