There will be a Foster’s voice meeting this Thursday at 7 am in the auditorium! Bring a friend, grab a donut, and help fight the stigma around mental health!

The first Interact Club meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 28th at 7:30am in Room 119 C. The Interact Club is a service organization that focuses on giving back to the community through volunteering. All students are welcome to attend. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Drish in the counseling office.

The Outlook Club is looking for students who are interested in sharing what's going on at UT with students and the community through the Panther Post publication. We're looking for people interested in writing news stories, taking pictures at events, working with layout, or a variety of other important roles. Our first meeting of the year is Wednesday, August 28, at 3:15 in Room 123E. See Mrs. Peterson if you have questions. Help make this the best year yet for the Panther Post!

Are your doodles ready for their big break? Whether you're a seasoned sketchbook aficionado, a master of accidental coffee stains turned abstract art, or you still think "Ctrl+Z" should exist in real life—Ink Masters Arts Club is here to fuel your creativity! We’re your home for all things artistic: from painting, sketching, and digital designs, to questionable amounts of glitter glue, thats not true (MRs. Jackson hates glitter) and the occasional debate on whether Comic Sans is ever acceptable (spoiler: it’s not). You'll find new friends, creative challenges, and, yes, you will probably leave with paint, ink or marker on your hands. Think of us as the place where masterpiece meets mishap. No judgment—just good vibes, lots of laughs, and a whole lot of "happy little accidents." So grab your brushes, pens, or tablets, and let’s make some art! P.S. We’ve got snacks. Because who can create without snacks? Ink masters arts club will have their first meeting Next Tuesday, September 3rd in room 187V...That’s alllllllll the way down in the ACC wing. Email Mrs. Jackson if you have any questions.

GUIDANCE:

"Students, especially seniors, this school year we have a lot of colleges and universities visiting UTHS. College and university representatives do not wish to visit high schools where students show little to no interest. Please show your support to visiting colleges and universities you are considering attending next year by visiting with those school representatives who have made UTHS part of their fall travel.

To kick off our school fall visits, Midwest Technical Institute will visit UT this Wednesday, August 28. Interested students should sign up in the Guidance Office to visit with the admissions representative."

"Students, are you looking for community service hours? The World Relief - Quad Cities, an organization supporting refugees and immigrants resettling in the QC area, may have opportunities for volunteer work. The organization is hosting a 5K run in September and looking for volunteers to work the event. interested students should contact Mr. Davis, College & Career Advisor" His office is located in the UT Center area."

"Midwest Technical Institute will be at UT tomorrow morning at 10. Students interested in continuing their education in the skilled trades (Welding, Cosmetics to include Barbering & Hair Styling, as well as Nursing) are especially encouraged to attend. Please sign up in the Guidance Office. Contact Mr. Davis, College & Career Advisor, with questions."
