"Seniors, ALL Seniors! This message is directed to you. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) representative, Madeleine Schaefer, will visit UTHS this coming Thursday. Ms. Schaefer will be at UT from 9 to 11:30. She will continue to visit United Township every Thursday at the same times unless she is sick or there is NO school. Seniors, this is SERIOUS. If you have not begun getting your FSA ID#, you should visit with Ms. Schaefer as soon as you can. Remember, you cannot receive any FREE money, including Grants, Work Study, and money from the college or university of your choice (known as institutional money), Federal Student Loan or Parent Plus Loan without completing the FAFSA form. Seniors, it is time to get busy. Eight months from now, you will not be at UTHS. Start planning for your future now! Visit with Ms. Schaefer and get busy with the FAFSA. Please sign up in the Guidance Office. If you have questions, see your Guidance Counselor or visit with Mr. Davis, UT College & Career Advisor."
Eastern Iowa Community College & Rockford University will be here on Tuesday;
Black Hawk College, the National University of Health Sciences, & University of Iowa will be here on Wednesday; and, the
University of Illinois - Urbana will be here on Thursday.

"Students, the Army National Guard will be at UT today. They will meet with students in the Commons during lunch. While serving in the National Guard is part-time, members receive several great benefits, including a competitive salary, bonuses, and incentives, as well as excellent health care, retirement, and education benefits. Students, if you want to find out more about what the Army National Guard has to offer, stop by their table during lunchtime."
