Attention Students: Starting after Fall Break, students that arrive to school after 8:30 am will check in at the tardy kiosk and then report to Students Services. Without a parent call, this will be considered a period truancy.
This week is Homecoming week. We encourage all of our students to participate in the activities, attend events and bring those themed outfits. It is still a week of school so normal rules apply. Remember that we don’t allow body and face paint or inappropriate outfits while at school. Be safe; make good decisions and have fun showing your Panther Pride.
Hey Panthers! Ticket sales for Homecoming will be sold Today, Wednesday and Thursday at the student store during all 3-lunch periods. Tickets are $12 for a single and $22 for a couple during lunch. They will be $15 and $30 at the door so make sure you get them while you can!
Attention Seniors: October 12 is the last day to have your senior yearbook portrait taken at the Photographic Arts studio. Please call 309-762-6662 to book your appointment. No exceptions will be made for late appointments or submissions due to our upcoming yearbook deadlines.
Staff and Students: Picture retake/make-up day is October 30, from 7:30am-3:00pm. Stop by the auditorium, on your own time, to get your yearbook picture taken. Students will NOT be escorted by their English teachers this time around. October 30 is your final opportunity to have your portrait taken for it to be included in the 2024-25 yearbook.
Attention Seniors and Senior Parents/Guardians: Senior Baby ads are currently available for purchase. Order forms can be found in the General Office, Mrs. Green and Mrs. Gorgal's room (126E), and on the uths website. For full details, see the order form or contact Mrs. Green at skyline@uths.net. The November 8th deadline is quickly approaching, so reserve your senior's spot today and remind them how proud you are of their accomplishments!
Pre-ordered yearbooks for the 2024-2025 school year are available for purchase for $50 in the General Office and the UTHS website. The reduced price will remain in effect until mid-December. The price then increases to $60 thereafter. There will be a limited amount of books for sale at the end of the year, so please preorder your book today to guarantee yourself a copy of this memory keepsake. You DO NOT want to miss out on this one!
CLUBS:
"Hey Honey Bees! This is your LAST week to respond in the Google Classroom to let us know if you'll be attending the Fall Retreat or not! If you don't respond, we'll mark you as a "no". If you responded "yes", we'll be getting you more info about the Retreat soon! As always, feel free to contact Ms. Reick or Ms. Clearman if you have any questions."
If you are interested in theater, whether you want to act or be backstage helping create a wonderful show come to the winter play meeting Thursday Oct. 3rd at 315 in the auditorium. We will be discussing our winter play The Old Man and the Old Moon, a story about how our moon came to change shape every night and how a man learned what is most important in life, being there for your loved ones. This is a play that includes music and puppetry, so come on Thursday Oct. 3rd at 3:15 in the auditorium to learn how you can be a part of this awesome show. If you aren't able to make it, please contact Ms. Weber at kweber@uths.net or stop by room 204S to speak with her.
