Student Hunger Drive Skate night is Monday, October 21st at Skate City from 6pm -8pm Admission 2 cans or 2 dollars Details are on bulletin boards around school. Hope to see you there.
Student Hunger Drive Volleyball Tournament is Wednesday October 23rd starting at 6pm. Doors open at5:30pm Starting Thursday, October 17th through 22nd we are taking registrations in the general office for teams of 8. A max of 12 teams can play in the tournament. Student and Staff teams are welcome to play. Must turn in 25 cans or 25 dollars with registration. If you would like to come and cheer for the teams, admission will be 3 dollars or 3 cans.
GUIDANCE:
"Students, the University of Missouri will be at UTHS this morning. Interested students wanting to speak with the representative from the University should sign up in the Guidance Office."
"Students, the Army National Guard will be at UT today. They will be in the Commons during all three lunch periods to meet with interested students."
"Students, the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) representative, Madeleine Schaefer, will be at UT this morning from 9 to 11:30. Students needing to begin the FAFSA process to receive financial aid to attend college or trade schools, should plan to attend these Thursday workshops. Interested students, please sign up in the Guidance Office."
CLUBS:
"Buzz buzz Honey Bees! This Saturday is the Fall Retreat here at UTHS. Show up for some breakfast at 8 and keep checking the google classroom this week for more information!"
Gamer's Club will meet this Friday from 3 to 5 in room 149N."
There will be a student council meeting this Friday at 7:30 in room 109S. Come join us to discuss the Student Hunger Drive and the many events coming up in the next few weeks.
For all students who are interested in competing in Scholastic Bowl this year, they will have their first practice Monday after school in Mr. Carlson's room at 216s.
