Student Hunger Drive Skate night is TODAY Monday, October 21st at Skate City from 6pm -8pm Admission 2 cans or 2 dollars Details are on bulletin boards around school. Hope to see you there.

Student Hunger Drive Volleyball Tournament is Wednesday October 23rd starting at 6pm. Doors open at5:30pm Starting Thursday, October 17th through 22nd we are taking registrations in the general office for teams of 8. A max of 12 teams can play in the tournament. Student and Staff teams are welcome to play. Must turn in 25 cans or 25 dollars with registration. If you would like to come and cheer for the teams, admission will be 3 dollars or 3 cans.

GUIDANCE:

Black Hawk College will be here on October 31st for a spooktacular event. They will be in the library from 8am until 11am to help with applications, financial aid, advising, and other topics. Fliers have been posted with more information. See your counselor or Mr. Davis for more information regarding this event. Sign up is in the counseling office.

"Students. Are you looking for community service / volunteer hours? Hampton Elementary School has opportunities for community service hours on October 25 from 6 - 8 p.m. If interested, visit with Mr. Davis, the UT College & Career Advisor. This opportunity is on a first-come/first-serve basis."

"Students, colleges visiting UT this week include:

* The University of Dubuque on Tuesday, October 22; and,

* Coe College on Thursday, October 24.

If you want to meet with college representatives, please sign up in the Guidance Office."

CLUBS:

For all students who are interested in competing in Scholastic Bowl this year, they will have their first practice TODAY Monday after school in Mr. Carlson's room at 216s.

The next Interact Club meeting will be on Wednesday, October 25th. We will meet in room 119C at 7:30am. All students are welcome to attend.
