"Please join the UT Concert and Symphonic bands tonight at 7pm in the auditorium for our Fall Concert. The Concert Band will play some sounds from October as well as a Sousa march. The Symphonic Band will be previewing our Veteran's Day program along with a fun rock tune at the end. It's completely free! The concert should wrap up around 8pm."

Attention Seniors and Senior Parents/Guardians: Senior Baby ads are currently available for purchase. Order forms can be found in the General Office, Mrs. Green and Mrs. Gorgal's room (126E), and on the uths website. For full details, see the order form or contact Mrs. Green at skyline@uths.net. The November 8th deadline is quickly approaching, so reserve your senior's spot today and remind them how proud you are of their accomplishments!

Pre-ordered yearbooks for the 2024-2025 school year are available for purchase for $50 in the General Office and the UTHS website. The reduced price will remain in effect until mid-December. The price then increases to $60 thereafter. There will be a limited amount of books for sale at the end of the year, so please preorder your book today to guarantee yourself a copy of this memory keepsake. You DO NOT want to miss out on this one!

GUIDANCE:

Seniors - several scholarships are now open for applications. Please check the list in the counseling google classroom or stop by the counseling office to look at the list.

Juniors and seniors - the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Test will be given to UTHS students on Wednesday, November 13. If you want to take the ASVAB, please sign up in the Guidance Office. Interested students are encouraged to go online and take the practice tests for ASVAB. All branches of the military use the ASVAB to gauge your knowledge and skills in 9 key areas for placement. If you have questions regarding the ASVAB, please see your Guidance Counselor or Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor."

CLUBS:

The UT FCA is having an open gym this upcoming Saturday, November 9th. This will be outside of UT at Wildwood Church in East Moline from 2-4 pm. Come join us for games and fun! Scott Kochuyt will be speaking at the event! Snacks will be provided so bring a friend! Hope to see you there!!

Yearbook pictures for the Interact Club will be Monday morning in the auditorium. Pictures for the club will be at 7:40 with Rotarians following at 7:45. Be on time! Shirts are in Mrs. Drish’s office but she will have them that morning as well.

This week’s student council meeting will be in front of the auditorium! We will be making cards for veterans and drawing for the student hunger drive prizes! We hope to see you there!

SPORTS:

All students wrestling this season - must attend a mandatory meeting today Thursday after school in the Wrestling Room. See Coach Fotos in Room 205 if you have any questions. Again, this meeting is mandatory.

Attention girls that are interested in joining the Girls Bowling team, Coach Krack will be in the cafeteria today with information and to answer any questions about the team. Stop by at lunch and see her today!
