UT will be participating in the 29th annual US Marine Corps Toys For Tots drive. This year over 9,000 children will register for assistance, which translates to over 33,000 gifts generously given to help the less fortunate in the Quad Cities. You can help by donating a new unwrapped toy; simply drop it off in in the General Office or Library by Tuesday December 10th. Two evening field trips open to all UT students to the Toys For Tots Distribution Center are planned for Tuesday December 3rd and Tuesday December 10th, but space is limited to only “25” students per night; pick up permission slips in the library. If you know of a family who may be in need help this Christmas they will need to register online at the US Marine Corps Toys for Tots website Registration ends November 30th.
Attention seniors: Senior packets for the yearbook will be distributed during English class this week. Please complete the packet and return it to your English teacher or Mrs. Green in 126E by 3:15 Tuesday, November 26. Seniors who do not have an English class this semester may pick up a senior packet in 126E (Gorgal and Green's room) and in the Student Store during lunch starting FRIDAY, November 22.
Pre-ordered yearbooks for the 2024-2025 school year are available for purchase for $50 in the General Office and the UTHS website. The reduced price will remain in effect until December 18. The price then increases to $60 thereafter. There will be a limited amount of books for sale at the end of the year, so please preorder your book today to guarantee yourself a copy of this memory keepsake. You DO NOT want to miss out on this one!
