On Monday, Nov. 25, transportation will only be offering a 4:15 late bus. There will not be a 5:15 bus that day. Students please plan accordingly.

UT will be participating in the 29th annual US Marine Corps Toys For Tots drive. This year over 9,000 children will register for assistance, which translates to over 33,000 gifts generously given to help the less fortunate in the Quad Cities. You can help by donating a new unwrapped toy; simply drop it off in in the General Office or Library by Tuesday December 10 th .

Attention seniors: Senior packets for the yearbook were distributed during English class last week. Please complete the packet and return it to your English teacher or Mrs. Green in 126E by 3:15 tomorrow, Tuesday, November 26. Seniors who do not have an English class this semester may pick up a senior packet in 126E (Gorgal and Green's room) and in the Student Store during lunch today and tomorrow.

Pre-ordered yearbooks for the 2024-2025 school year are available for purchase for $50 in the General Office and the UTHS website. The reduced price will remain in effect until December 18. The price then increases to $60 thereafter. There will be a limited amount of books for sale at the end of the year, so please preorder your book today to guarantee yourself a copy of this memory keepsake. You DO NOT want to miss out on this one!

Berlin-Prague-Krakow-Budapest Trip 2026

If you are interested in traveling to Europe but missed our meeting, be sure to stop by room 223E to get a flyer with all the sign up information and details about the trip. You could be traveling through the Tatra Mountains, walking the grounds of Auschwitz, get your picture by the remains of the Berlin Wall, and swim in the turkish bath of Budapest at night, and walk the halls of some of the greatest palaces of Europe. GUIDANCE:

Students this announcement regards the ASVAB. Please listen up! Those students who signed up for the ASVAB and were not able to take the test on November 13, we have good news. On December 5 the ASVAB Coordinator will be at UTHS to Proctor a make-up test. The make-up test will start at 9:15. Students should plan on the test taking about 2 hours to complete. You are encouraged to go online and take practice tests, prior to the December 5 test day. If you have questions or require additional information, please see Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor.

Today, November 25, a representative from Midwest Technical Institute will be at UT during Period 2 to speak with interested students. If you wish to learn about educational opportunities at Midwest Tech, please sign up in the Guidance Office.

The Hampton School District's Youth Committee has volunteer hours available to work during its "Crafts with Santa" event on December 7th from 9 - 11:00 a.m. Students interested in earning volunteer hours should see Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor.

CLUBS:

FCA will have a meeting on Tuesday, November 26th at 7 am in the auditorium Join us for friends, faith and fun! We hope to see you there!!

Gobble Gobble UT! Thanksgiving is just around the corner and the Multicultural Club wants to help show what UT is grateful for. During your lunch periods today, you can come to the table where a member from the Multicultural Club will give you a strip of paper to write what you are thankful for. These strips of paper will be turned into a long chain demonstrating how thankful UT is!

SPORTS:

There will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in Girls Track today, November 25 after school in the Commons. See Mrs. Larson in 242N if you are unable to attend.

If you are interested in joining a badminton club, please see Ms. Harding in the front office to sign up.

Congratulations to UT's Esports team: Lucien Bailey, Johnny Baker, Payton Moreno, and Barret Quin for placing 2nd at the IHSEA 2A State Championship. The Esports team is always recruiting and looking for players in Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Madden, EA FC 25, Apex Legends, Overwatch 2, Call of Duty, and Splatoon 3. If you're interested in joining find Mr. Garcia in room 236N for more information!
