UT will be participating in the 29th annual US Marine Corps Toys For Tots drive. This year over 9,000 children will register for assistance, which translates to over 33,000 gifts generously given to help the less fortunate in the Quad Cities. You can help by donating a new unwrapped toy; simply drop it off in in the General Office or Library by Tuesday December 10th.

CLUBS:

LGBT+ club is having our last meeting of the semester next week after school on Wednesday December 11th. The club will meet in Miss Williams room 125E right after school for a holiday hang out! There will be treats, coloring pictures, and friends. Hope to see you there!

Gamer's Club will meet today Friday from 3 to 5 in room 149N.

If you need to visit with Ms. Schaefer to complete your FAFSA information before the Christmas Break, please sign up in the Guidance Office. SPORTS:

The boys track and field preseason meeting will be on Tuesday, December 10th after school in the Commons from 3:15-3:45. Winter sport athletes who are interested in track should see Coach H. in room 234 to join the Google classroom.

As we begin winter athletics and activities at UTHS, we will have the following policies for all students at home basketball games.

*UTHS and visiting students must present their school ID to gain entrance.

*Discipline issues with all students will be turned into administration and may face consequences based on the School Code of Conduct.

*NO BACKPACK POLICY - Students cannot bring backpacks into the games - No exceptions.

*Students who make negative comments, including inappropriate clothing, signs, hand gestures and/or verbal chants towards the opposing team or officials will be escorted from the event and not allowed to return to the event.

*Students are to leave the gym immediately after the game. Students will not be allowed to remain in the gym for socializing. If you are waiting for players, you must do so outside of the school or in your car.
