We have an exciting addition to our Music Department for the 2025-2026 school year. We're offering Mariachi Band class! Did you play in the Mariachi groups at Glenview? Do you wish you could keep making Mariachi style music? Now is your chance. Come to a short 15-minute meeting tomorrow (12/19) after school in the Choir Room, Room 100S, at 3:15pm. Dr. Minard will also be in the Cafeteria and Commons at the end of each lunch period today and tomorrow to talk about how you can get involved in the inaugural group that will put UT on the map for popular music ensembles in Illinois schools.
Please join the UT Music Department as we spread holiday cheer at the Holiday Concert Thursday at 7pm in the Auditorium. All band and choir students will perform. We also invite alumni band and choir members to join us for the annual singing of Carol of the Bells and playing Sleigh Ride and Russian Christmas. Please spread the word to your siblings, parents, and grandparents that may want to perform with us. Admission is free and the public is welcome.

We are thrilled to announce the launch Women Rising, a female empowerment club dedicated to supporting young women, LGBTQ+ members, and allies! Our mission is to create a safe, inclusive space where young adults can come together to learn, grow, and advocate for their rights. Our first meeting will be Wednesday January 8th from 3:15-4:15 in Room 187V.
