The Student Council polar plunge team needs four more volunteers for the polar plunge this Wednesday, March 5th, immediately after school. Our theme is black and orange so it will be super easy to participate. If you are interested, please contact Morgan Roman through the student council remind or by email at Morgan.Roman@utstudents.net
The H.O.P.E. Club will be putting out its next edition of Toilet Times in April since March is shortened by Spring Intersession. However, they won’t leave us hanging. In March, Save Your Vision Month is celebrated to encourage people to prioritize eye health and get regular eye exams. Eye health is important because our eyes help us navigate the world. Vision loss can be serious; it can interfere with our independence, mobility, social interactions, employment opportunities, mental health and overall sense of well-being. Some factors that contribute to vision loss can be reduced by taking simple steps starting with getting regular eye exams. Be sure to turn your attention to the TV monitors for the H.O.P.E. Club’s Mindful Monday highlight to learn of more steps you can take to promote your eye health and prevent vision loss.
Attention seniors! If you believe you have reached your six points for the blood drive cord, make sure you fill out the form on the Impact Life website! You will not receive your cord if you do not fill out the form for each donation, referral, or volunteering. If you need help finding the form or filling it out, please contact Grace Mumma at Grace.Mumma@utstudents.net
