Next week on April 15th through the 17th, UT Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors will participate in State Testing.

On Tuesday, April 15th, Juniors will take the online version of the ACT. Juniors should bring their charged chromebook, calculator, and a lucky pencil. Testing will begin at 8am. Dismissal will be at 1pm. Grab and go lunch will be available.

On Wednesday, April 16th, Sophomores will take the online version of the Pre-ACT. Sophomores should bring their charged chromebook, calculator, and a lucky pencil. Testing will begin at 8am. Dismissal will be at 12:00pm. Grab and go lunch will be available.

On Thursday, April 17th, Freshman will take the online version of the Pre-ACT. Freshman should bring their charged chromebook, calculator, and a lucky pencil. Testing will begin at 8am. Dismissal will be at 12:00pm. Grab and go lunch will be available.

Students will NOT be in attendance on days they are not testing. Students cannot be admitted to testing late, so please arrive on your testing day in a timely manner. Room assignments will be posted in the entrance foyer and Commons.

Attention seniors-Anyone who would like to be a 2025 Prom Royalty candidate should fill out the Google Form emailed to all seniors on Tuesday morning.

This is for UTHS Seniors only. You may only nominate yourself. The form will close at 3:15pm on April 9

GUIDANCE:

A scholarship deadline has been extended, but just for a couple of days. If you plan to major in art, drama, health/wellness, music or a vocational field, stop by the counseling office and get an application. Applications must be postmarked April 10th, or can be emailed that day. You must be attending a school in Illinois to apply.

"Students, St. Ambrose University representative, Ben Mallon, will be at UT this morning to visit with students during Period 4. Students wanting to meet with the St. Ambrose rep should sign up in the Guidance Office."

"Students, the Hampton Youth Committee is also having a 'Memories with Mom' event on Sunday, May 4, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Hampton Heritage Center. The committee is looking for volunteers to help with different craft tables.

"Students, the Hampton Youth Committee is having an Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19, and is looking for volunteers to help spread eggs at Heritage Park in Hampton.

If you want to earn volunteer hours and do something terrific for kids in the Hampton Township area, see Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor, for more information."

CLUBS:

There will be a student council meeting this Friday at 7:30 in Mr. Welch's room, 109S. We will be talking about the Panther Pant, ABC Countdown, and Executive Board applications. We hope to see you there!

Do you have ideas on what activities we should have for school? Do you want to help make decisions regarding school events like homecoming? Well, here is your chance! Student Council executive board applications can be found in the general office. All positions need to be filled so we encourage you to apply for any job that you believe you will excel in.
