Hello everyone! The Panther Pant is coming up! The Panther Pant is the main fundraiser that supports all of our activities including homecoming, sadies, and more. If you are interested in running three miles, one mile, or volunteering, please contact a student council member or scan the QR code on the flyer to sign up

"The student matinee for the musical will be Thursday, April 25th. This is a longstanding tradition that allows the student body to enjoy live theater and support their friends. Students who purchase a ticket will be excused during 7th and 8th periods on the 25th. Tickets for this show will be sold before school and during lunch starting next Monday, April 15th through Thursday, April 25th. Yes, we will sell them before school on testing days! Tickets are $7 and can be purchased with cash only. Please see Mr. Greer with any questions."

CLUBS:

There will be a Student Council Meeting this Friday at 7:30 am in the auditorium! Come join us to help plan the events for the rest of the year!!

This Friday April 12th the LGBT+ club will be hosting their final event of the year: the Day of Silence, and would love to have as many staff and students participate as possible.You can participate by pledging silence or wearing comfy clothes. If you want to pledge silence at school, you will need to sign up ahead of time with Miss Williams in room 125E, so you can receive a sticker to wear for the day. The Day of Silence is meant to help all students feel safe and comfortable at school. Show your support by pledging silence or wearing comfy clothes this Friday April 12th!

GUIDANCE:

"The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) representative, Madeleine Schaefer, will be at UT this morning from 9 to 11:30.  Students needing to begin the FAFSA process, continue or finalize completion of the FAFSA should plan to attend this workshop.  Interested students, please sign up in the Guidance Office."

Any students needing to take the ACCUPLACER test for dual credit can sign up in the counseling office. Testing is required for dual credit math, English and psychology. You will need your Black Hawk ID number to test. See Mrs. Drish if you have any questions.

"Students planning on attending Black Hawk College and have not filled out the admissions application please listen up.  April 22 - 30 is the Free Application Week.  That is right - FREE! Apply using the code: FREEAPP24.  See your Guidance Counselor or Mr. Davis with questions."

"Seniors and early graduates only, the last day for you to submit your community service hours for credit for this school year will be Tuesday, April 30.  If you are a senior or graduating early and have 100 hours or more of community service hours and want credit toward the 100-hour minimum requirement to receive the Silver Cord, please make sure that you record your hours by April 30.  Students, don't dally, record your hours by April 30 so that you can proudly wear the Silver Cord at this year's graduation to show the UT community that you care about giving back to your community, and the need to get involved in community service and volunteerism. If you need assistance with recording community service or volunteer hours, see Mr. Davis, the UT College & Career Advisor.  His office is located in the new UT Center area."
