GUIDANCE:

"Students, Mr. Davis is pleased that so many students are seizing the opportunity to visit with college representatives when they visit UT.  This show of support on your part keeps these colleges/universities coming to UT.  So, continue to invest in your future by finding out what each of these higher education institutions have to offer.

Today, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville will be here at UT 1:22 and Monmouth College will be here at 2:14.  Seniors, UW-Platteville has a Loan Repayment Program for Elementary, Middle and Math education graduates to help you pay back your loans, if you graduate from the university.  UW-Platteville is known for Engineering, Criminal Justice, Agriculture, and, of course, Education.   If you are interested in visiting UW-Platteville or Monmouth College, please sign up in the Guidance Office.  If you have questions, see your Guidance Counselor or Mr. Davis, the UT College & Career Advisor."

Students, Ms. Madeline Schaefer from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission will be at UT from 9 - 11:30 a.m. today.  Seniors who want to get an early jump on getting their FSA ID# established should make an opportunity to visit with Ms. Schaefer.

Seniors, think of financial aid like a pie.  There is only so much pie to go around.  Those who get to the pie first will get the biggest piece!  Even if you think you will not receive any aid, you should complete the FAFSA anyway, because there is institutional money available that you may qualify for.  But, you need to have completed the FAFSA to receive it.

Please sign up in the Guidance Office.  If you have any questions, please see your Guidance Counselor or Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor.  Ms. Schaefer will be in the Center Conference Room every Thursday."

SPORTS:

Attention Girls that are interested or plan on bowling the 24 – 25 season: There will be an organizational meeting on Thursday September 12th at 3:10pm in the Commons to pass out important information. The meeting will last approximately 20 minutes. If you are unable to make the meeting, please email Coach Krack at skrack@uths.net.
